Sometimes when I’m looking to get booked for a show, the person on the phone may ask me something like “Tell me, who is Alvin Williams?”…

       Well for starters, I'm a black man, but I'm not a "black comedian".  I'm simply an entertainer.  I can make ANYONE laugh...at least once.  I was born and raised in Chicago, but I got my comedic start while living in Denver Colorado.  Since then I've lived all around the country, making extended stops in Oregon, Louisiana, and Idaho (YES...IDAHO) where I'm currently making my mark on the Northwest comedy scene.  Whether you’re corporate or college, my style of comedy will make you feel comfortable with the idea that nothing is off limits when your heart is in the right place.  Situations and events that have the ability to trouble most people are the life-blood for what I do on stage and on cd, so I MAY offend, but I also enlighten...I'm pretty sure I do anyway.  My goal onstage is to give people something new.  Something different.  Something they'll still be laughing about way after they've seen me perform, whether they're driving home that night or at their office desk the next morning.  I love to put the world on blast and make us appreciate our differences through humor.  So who is Alvin Williams?...Am I someone you can relate to?  Do I cross the line at times?...Hell, would I be any good if I didn't?...To those people who ask, I only have one answer…
